Darlington Partners Places Chief Risk Officer, Genworth Mortgage Insurance

Executive search firm Darlington Partners, Ltd. announces the placement of Thomas Parrent as Senior Vice President, Risk Management, U.S. Mortgage Insurance.

Mr. Parrent joins Genworth from GMAC ResCap where he was Managing Director, Residential Finance Group and Chairman of the Financial Risk Committee. Previously, Tom held senior risk roles at Countrywide Securities and ABN AMRO North America. His early career included key consulting, technology, and structured finance assignments.

Tom received his A.B. Economics, cum laude, from Princeton University and his MBA Finance & Statistics, with honors, from the University of Chicago. He is a leading authority on Enterprise Risk Management, Quantitative Model Design, and Portfolio Strategy.
