Darlington Partners, Ltd. places Chief Credit Officer, PMI Guaranty Co.Executive search firm Darlington Partners, Ltd. announces the placement of Bonita Z. Dorland as Senior Vice President & Chief Credit Officer of PMI Guaranty Co. As Chief Credit Officer, Ms. Dorland will have overall responsibility for the credit and underwriting approval function for PMI Guaranty, including oversight of insured portfolio risk in force, and will lead the development of guidelines, policies and methodologies to minimize risk on new transactions. "PMI Guaranty's goal of efficiently structuring mezzanine and remote loss products will further strengthen PMI's position as a leading global provider of credit enhancement," Dorland said, "and I'm looking forward to helping build a successful franchise." Bonny Dorland has more than 25 years' experience in risk management and financial services. She was most recently Chief Underwriting Officer and Executive Vice President with Radian Asset Assurance Inc., a monoline insurance company. Prior to that she was Chief Credit Officer for Banque National de Paris Capital Markets, LLC. She has also served in key roles at Financial Guaranty Insurance Company (FGIC) and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, & Smith, Inc. Dorland has a BS in Corporate Finance from New York University School of Business and Public Finance and an MBA from the New York University Graduate School of Business Administration, with honors. She serves on the board of the National Chorale, a nonprofit national choral company whose music education programs serve underprivileged students throughout the New York City metropolitan area.
